Process and pricing

A project runs in four steps: a free integration check (30 minutes), a fixed-price quote within 3 working days, build and testing in usually 2 to 4 weeks, then operation as a subscription you can cancel monthly. A simple connection between two systems starts at €1,900 net, operation at €149 a month.

Pricing

Fixed price. No surprises.

After the free integration check, you get a fixed-price quote within three working days. These figures show where it starts.

  • Simple connection

    from 1,900 €

    net, one-off

Two systems, one clearly defined task, for example shop orders as a DATEV posting batch.

    • Fixed price after a free check
    • Quote within 3 working days
    • Usually built in 2 to 4 weeks
    • Source code and documentation are yours
    Book a free check
  • Operation

    from 149 €

    net per month

Your integration runs and is monitored. All you notice is that it works.

    • Hosting in Germany with a DPA
    • Monitoring and alerts on errors
    • Notice of API changes
    • Cancel monthly
    Book a free check

All prices net. The exact fixed price depends on which data flows and how much logic sits in between.

What happens after the check

After the call we review the documentation of the systems involved and clarify open questions about access. Only then do we write the quote. That is why it contains a fixed price for a fixed scope, not an estimate. You decide at your own pace whether to place the order.

What to prepare for the check

You do not need a requirements specification. Helpful are the names and versions of the systems involved, a short description of your current process and, if available, a sample export without real customer data. If it involves accounting, your tax advisor is welcome to join. You can book the appointment via the contact form.

Price anchors

  • Simple connection

    from €1,900 net

Two systems, one clearly defined task, for example orders from the shop as a posting batch (Buchungsstapel) for DATEV.

  • Several systems

    from €4,900 net

Projects involving more than two systems or data flowing in several directions, such as shop, ERP and accounting.

  • Operation

    from €149 a month

Hosting in Germany, monitoring, alerts and notice of API changes. Cancel monthly.

What the fixed price includes

The fixed price covers everything needed for a working integration, for the scope stated in the quote:

  • Concept and mapping

The rules on which field goes where and which system leads, put in writing. More under data mapping.

  • Programming

The integration itself, with error handling, retries after outages and a log of every transaction.

  • Testing and acceptance

Testing in a test environment, corrections after your review and support at go-live.

  • Code and documentation

The source code belongs to you. You receive it with documentation that another developer can also understand.

If the scope changes during the project, for example because another data object is added, you receive a separate quote for it beforehand. Nothing gets more expensive without your consent.

What the operation subscription covers

By default your integration runs on our servers in Germany, with a data processing agreement under the GDPR. If you prefer, it runs on your own server. We monitor every run and also notice when expected data fails to arrive. If something fails, an alert goes out immediately. If a vendor announces a change to its API, we let you know in good time and send you a fixed-price quote for the adjustment. We state the exact monthly amount for operation in the quote for the implementation. The subscription can be cancelled monthly, and because the code belongs to you, you can take over operation yourself at any time. All details are under operation and monitoring.

What drives the price

The price does not depend on the names of the systems but on how much logic sits between them. Honestly, it is usually these points:

FactorWhy it increases the effort
Number of data objectsEach object needs its own rules, tests and error cases.
DirectionData in both directions requires clear rules for conflicts, see bidirectional.
Special casesPartial deliveries, credit notes, variants, customer-specific prices, multiple tax rates.
Access to the systemsSystems without an API need files or database access, some APIs need to be enabled by the vendor.
Data qualityDuplicates or inconsistent legacy data must be cleaned up or matched before the start.
Legacy dataIf existing data is to be transferred once, a migration is added.

It gets cheaper when one system leads, data flows in one direction only and special cases are rare. A detailed assessment with examples is in the guide What does an integration cost?. Whether a ready-made connector is cheaper is answered in connector or custom.

Frequently asked questions

What does the integration check cost?

Nothing. The check takes 30 minutes and does not commit you to anything. Afterwards you receive a fixed-price quote within 3 working days.

Does it really stay at the fixed price?

Yes, for the scope stated in the quote. If you want additional functions during the project, you receive a separate quote for them beforehand.

Do I have to sign up for the operation subscription?

No. The code belongs to you, and you can run the integration yourself. The subscription is for anyone who does not want to deal with servers and monitoring or keep track of vendor changes.

Do you also take over integrations that others built?

Yes, after a review. We look at the code, documentation and operation and tell you whether we would take over the integration as it is, rework it first or rebuild it. You receive a fixed-price quote for the chosen option.

How long does a project take?

Implementation usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. It takes longer if a vendor has to enable API access first or many systems are involved.

Are the prices net?

Yes, all prices are net, plus VAT. Our offer is aimed exclusively at businesses.
